- the tongue is free and flat, the tip of the tongue slightly touches the lower teeth,
- the lower teeth stay away from the upper teeth,
- the lips stay neutral, adjusted to the position of the jaws, they do not spread or move forward,
- the soft palate lies against the back of the pharynx.
